though yet heaven knows it is but as a tomb

Walked around the gentrified part la basse ville which is now known as the market the disgusting expansion of King Edward for trucking traffic really split a neighborhood into two distinct entities. One has francophones (mostly immigrants) and public housing the other is filled with embassies. I took a few meh pics of the "nice" side.

Playoffs might be over but it was one hell of a ride. Go Habs Go. Magasin Amicale TNH.

Alexandra bridge. Cool stuff goes on there at night...

Shouts to oil protectorates.

This used to be la Maison franco-ontarienne.

"Les Franco-Ontariens font toujours du progrès. Ils ont enfin
décidé l'établissement de la Maison Franco-Ontarienne à Ottawa.
Il semble tout de même que les franco-Ontariens en face de leurs
magnifiques succès voudraient se reposer sur leurs lauriers, ce qui
serait maléfique . . .
"

Now it's the embassy of Malaysia. The Francophone presence is dying.

This is a cool abandoned house that has been here for a long while. Ithink they want to build condos on the land. Could be the coolest venue in the world.

God damn PUZZLE HOUSE!
